Sunday, July 1: Interested in museums? You should check out Free First Sundays at the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA). Admission to OMCA is free on the first Sunday of every month so be sure to check it out!

Wednesday, July 4: There are lots of fun things to do in almost every city in the Bay Area for July 4th. An event that looks especially fun is the 4th of July Fireworks & Festival at the Berkeley Marina. The fun starts at 12pm and goes until 10pm. It is a free, family-friendly and alcohol-free event with live music, food, and other activities.

Sunday, July 8, 15, 22, 29: Wind down with Free Summer Yoga Sundays at Bay Street in Emeryville.

Friday, July 13: Are you a dancer or interested in learning how to Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue? “Dancing Under the Stars” Bachata, Salsa and Merengue in Jack London Square is a free event with dance lessons from 8:00pm-8:30pm, and a social dance from 8:30pm-10:00pm. A great place to start your Latin Dance career!

Saturday & Sunday, July 28-29: The Berkeley Kite Festival is a classic summer activity for Bay Area locals. Everyone is welcome—and encouraged—to join the fun at the festival in the Berkeley Marina.
