Are you a garden guru? Are you passionate about growing stunning and long-lasting orchids that will brighten up your world? I’m pleased to announce that the San Francisco Orchid Society’s (SFOS) ‘Orchids of the Enchanted Forest’ will take place February 22nd through February 24th in beautiful Golden Gate Park. Home to one of the largest orchids show in the United States, the exposition is a host to live music, a silent auction, and a wonderful array of flowers. With more than 150,000 orchids on display and available to purchase, this rare and magnificent event welcomes only the finest local and international vendors.
The San Francisco Orchid Society (SFOS) is a non-profit organization with members interest’s in the culture and appreciation of orchids. The three days of fun will involve daily demonstrations on how to successfully grow orchids, expert level supplies and tools for sale, and even a new kid-friendly feature called Orchid-gami. Newly adopted this year, kids from all ages can participate in an interactive activity to raise awareness about conservation and ecology of orchids.
On February 21st, SFOS is offering a special Preview Night Gala where attendees can be the first to enjoy the orchids while listening to live music. The Preview Gala tickets are $75 per person and General Admission per day starts at $15. You may also purchase a 3-day pass for $30.
